UAE-backed forces set up security points in Hadhramaut



MUKALLA - Militias of the so-called Hadhramaut Elite militias, funded by funded by the United Arab Emirates, have set up many security points in Mukalla city, Local sources reported on Tuesday.

Sources in the leadership of the UAE-backed Hadhramaut Elite militias said that they received orders to recruit 5,000 soldiers from Hadhramaut, train them as soon as possible to join, as the first step to strengthen its forces.

The head of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, has promised to capture the valley from Islah Party militias, while dozens of military pickups and armoured vehicles have reportedly arrived in Mukalla, provided by the UAE.
