Civilian targets bombed by Saudi-backed mercenaries in Hodeidah



HODEIDAH -The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries have on Wednesday continued to bomb residential areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, in a continual violation of the Stockholm Agreement, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the coalition-backed mercenaries fired over 17 artillery shells at the villages of Maghazi and Al-Qana'a, southeast of Hays district, causing damage to civilians properties.

Earlier in the day, at least seven civilians, including three children and two women, were injured in Saudi-led coalition shelling in the same province, the official added.

 The three children and two women were injured when the mercenaries fired mortar shells at the Modman area of Tuhaita district.

Furthermore, two civilians were injured when the mercenaries fired artillery shells at the residential Ghalil and Sabalyah areas in Hawk district.
