Quds-1 missile causes disruption in air traffic in Saudi Abha Airport

SANA'A - The Yemeni army’s Missile Force has on Wednesday night fired a winged cruise missile of the type Quds-1, at Abha International Airport.

“The missile targeted the military operations centre and the warplanes’ hangars, causing the disruption of air traffic at the airport,” the army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e said.

"The operation came in response to Saudi-led coalition’s crimes and its continual air raids, which amounted to 42 raids during the past hours," the spokesman added.

“We assure the Saudi regime that our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on our country and people continue,” the general said.

Earlier the night, the Saudi regime claimed that it had intercepted a drone, several minutes before it was about to target Abha airport. Brigadier General Sare'e denied this claim of a drone having been shot down, and accused the Saudi kingdom of lying
