Friendly fire in Shabwah kills eight Saudi-backed forces

SHABWAH – At least eight soldiers affiliated with Hadi’s forces were killed by friendly fire in a military point in Shabwah province on Tuesday, media sources reported.

“Eight soldiers of the sixth military zone were killed at al-Akaf point located at the southern entrance of Ataq city, by friendly fire,” the Alsharaiah.net website, which is loyal to Hadi’s government-in-exile quoted a local source as saying.

The source confirmed that among the dead are both brother and nephew of the so-called Al-Tahrir Brigade commander, both originating from Jawf province.
The source did not mention the source of the friendly fire that targeted the eight soldiers
