Tariq Mustafa Salam states that imperialist powers US and UK are intervening directly in Aden affair

ADEN - The Governor of Aden, Tariq Mustafa Salam, has confirmed that what is happening today in the occupied province of Aden is "a completion of the same scenario orchestrate by the occupation forces that assigned two mercenary teams the task of creating an illusory struggle in order to undermine the stability and disturb the public tranquility of Yemen."

Salam, who is loyal to the National Salvation Government in Sana'a and as such does not rule from occupied Aden itself, said in a statement to the Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that occupied Aden and other provinces under the control of the occupation "are under the project of partition and fragmentation which is taking place."

He pointed out that decisions in Aden are no longer being made by the regional occupiers, but that it has reached the stage of direct intervention by the United States and Great Britain against the national interests of Yemen.

The occupied Aden would become "a breeding ground for terrorism by providing the attractions to all forces of terrorism, due to the absence of security and stability in this senseless war that destroyed and washed away Yemeni territory (...) and strengthened (...) the occupier."

Governor Salam warned the people of Aden to not accept the occupiers and to resist the fact that Aden has become an attraction for criminal gangs and terrorists.
