Protests demand Emirati forces to reopen Al-Rayyan airport to public use again

HADHRAMAUT - Hundreds of citizens in the occupied province of Hadhramaut, eastern Yemen, on Sunday staged a vigil in Mukalla city, demanding the re-opening of Al-Rayyan airport, which is occupied by the UAE forces as position for their Patriot missiles.

The participants in the vigil declared their support for the decisions of the province’s governor loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Faraj al-Bahsani, to stop exporting oil abroad until the demands of the people in the province are met.

In the statement issued at the end of the vigil, the protesters demanded the provision of the electrical energy required for all districts of the province and the speed of recruiting 3,000 inhabitants of the province in the provincial security corps.
