Hadi supporters arrested and properties looted in separatist crackdown

ABYAN - Militias of the so-called Southern Transitional Council have raided dozens of houses owned by leading figures in the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi forces, both in Abyan and Lahj provinces.

Dozens of pro-Saudi militants, including commanders, were also arrested during operations in Zinjibar district. According the sources, the arrested men were accused of "taking part in creating security chaos and looting" in the two provinces.

The UAE militias announced that a state of emergency is being put into force for the next 72 hours in Aden city, and threatened to use the death penalty against the so-called "traitors fighting in the Hadi forces’ranks."
